Southfield, MI, September 7, 2016 - Nissan Motor Thailand (NMT), of the Renault-Nissan Automotive Alliance, chose the MIC Thai Free Zone solution including Import, Export, and Duty Deferral, as well as, Tariff Classification.
MIC Customs Solutions' software has supported Thai imports and duty deferral programs since 1999. With NMT, MIC has now added yet another Free Zone installation in Thailand, further expanding presence in the region. While every project has its challenges and setbacks, this project was implemented on-time and in budget, launching on the scheduled Go-Live date. MIC resources were onsite in Thailand supporting NMT's Go-Live every step of the way. The core processes are in place and NMT is continuing to add more and more transactions every week.
