MIC fully supports Export and Import Control Management for a Swedish Automotive Manufacturer in China

News | Export Controls 14 November 2022

MIC is delighted to inform you that it fully supports Export and Import Control Management in China via its MIC ECM module for a Swedish automotive manufacturer.

After a successfully roll-out of MIC’s customs clearance software solution MIC-CUST® for the Chinese market to the Swedish car manufacturer, including MIC-CUST® Import, MIC-CUST® Export and the processing trade regime via MIC-CUST® PTR, MIC was also successful in providing an Export and Import Control Management solution via its software module MIC ECM.

This means that MIC’s software solution not only manages the customs import and export clearance processes through direct electronic data exchange with the China Single Window portal and eBook, but also provides compliance checks on controlled dual use items with appropriate License Management for imports and exports. Furthermore, the compliance check also covers the screening of all business partners against the China sanction list including the restricted lists which are related to the “National Security” announced by MOFCOM. To be able to do so, MIC ECM is now fully integrated not only in MIC-CUST® Export, but also in MIC-CUST® Import.

Thanks to the excellent cooperation of professionals from MIC and the globally acting car producer.

MIC’s customs and trade compliance software solutions enables efficient and transparent customs and trade compliance processes worldwide thereby helping customers to save time and money and staying compliant.
