MIC succeeded in winning one of the leading providers of cartonboard packaging for its denied party screening software solution.
The Austrian based company is a highly sophisticated organization focused on providing cartonboard solutions all over the world. It is one of the largest producers of coated recycled fiber-based cartonboard, an important manufacturer of virgin fiber-based cartonboard and a large producer of folding cartons.
Already after a few weeks’ implementation phase, MIC DPS went live. The fast realization of the project demonstrates once more that MIC’s specialists can manage projects in a short time period.
The following has been implemented:
- MIC DPS: MIC’s sub-module MIC DPS (Denied party screening) enables screening against sanctions lists based on a configurable screening algorithm and configurable screening profiles. MIC DPS gets delivered daily updated content of sanctions lists via MIC’s Global Trade Content Service (GTCS). This means that master data will be checked continuously against the latest updated sanctions lists. MIC DPS allows screening against sanctions lists, black lists, white lists, and positive lists and enables the determination of stop words as well as keywords. The software solution reviews the customer data and sends an email notification in case of a match with data from the sanctions list. Moreover, the cartonboard producer can control the audit trail of screening results and decisions including individual documentation as well as standard reports. Furthermore, MIC DPS gives an overview across the entire process and therefore ensures full transparency.
MIC is looking forward to a further positive and constructive cooperation with the leading cartonboard manufacturer.
