MIC-CUST® is a global customs solution on a single technical platform installed directly at Volkswagen (on-premises). It serves Volkswagen as the basis for the global central control of import and export customs declarations, which was successfully expanded at the end of 2017 to include the roll-out to Hungary. There it also supports the national ARUREG transit system. MIC-CUST® offers a direct electronic transaction-oriented data exchange with the Hungarian customs authority system for import and export customs procedures in Hungary, among other countries.
