The HMRC (Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs) announced that the new deadline for businesses to make export declarations using CDS (Customs Declaration Service) is now 30 November 2023. The closure for the old filing system CHIEF to CDS for imports has already taken place last year. Export shipments would have been affected by the end of March 2023. This timing has now been extended by another 8 months, which gives business enough time to prepare for the change.
