MIC Customs Solutions, the global leader in customs software, announced the appointment of Gianluca Romano as Vice President for the Americas.
With extensive customs and trade experience, serving both importers and service providers, Mr. Romano brings deep knowledge of global customs regulations, coupled with operational experience to this new position. His experience includes oversight of Global Trade Management (GTM) system implementations in Asia, North America, and South America. In his new role, Mr. Romano will support client development for North and South America, as well as the Asia-Pacific market.

Prior to joining MIC, Mr. Romano served as Senior Vice President of International Commercial Services for a major provider of Customs and International Trade Services, successfully opening greenfield Customs and Trade operations in four countries. Earlier in his career, he managed regional Customs operations from locations in the US, Thailand and Singapore. Mr. Romano is fluent in Spanish, Portuguese, Italian and English. He is conversational in Thai and Mandarin.
Mr. Romano received degrees in Economics and International Relations from Michigan State University.
