Your job
- As a Software Security Engineer you are the central contact person regarding software security for the development teams
- Your tasks will include implementing, testing and operating advanced software security techniques in compliance with technical reference architecture
- In addition, you will establish and operate the MIC Secure Development Lifecycle within the development teams
- You will perform on-going security testing and code review to improve software security as well as troubleshoot and debug security issues that arise together with the product teams
- In your job you will provide engineering designs for new software solutions to help mitigate security vulnerabilities and contribute to all levels of the architecture
- Consulting team members on secure coding practices as well as developing a familiarity with new tools and best practices is part of your job
Your skills and qualifications
- Bachelor or Master‘s Degree (Computer Science/Software Engineering with a focus on information security) with 3 years experience or completed IT edcution with at least 5 years‘ experience in a related position
- You have good knowledge of Java, JavaScript
- You have an understanding of software design and software architecture
- You bring a detailed technical knowledge of techniques, standards and state-of-the art capabilities for secure development, authentication and authorization, applied cryptography and handling security vulnerabilities
- Security research and development is your passion
- Your work style can be described as pro-active, self-reliant, structured, and well organized
- You are an analytical thinker with good communication skills
- Very good English skills (spoken and written)

Compensation
We are legally required to mention the compensation for this position. We offer a minimum salary of € 55.000 gross/year (38,5 hours/week, no All-in contracts) plus an employee bonus and numerous other benefits.
