Your mission
As a Software Engineer, you will work in our CSD team on a variety of internal and product-related solutions, supporting core business processes across MIC. You will contribute to the continuous development of existing modules and help shape new functionalities together with your team.
- You plan and implement new features – with a strong focus on stability, performance, and long‑term software quality.
- You will work with our core technologies Java and Oracle databases.
- In addition, you will use modern technologies such as Quarkus and ReactJS.
- You will work on a diverse system landscape e.g. broker filing, billing modules and internal tools.
- You use our AI tools as a co‑pilot to enhance your productivity and solve development tasks more efficiently.
- You collaborate with colleagues across teams and international locations.
- In the long term, you will have opportunities to grow into a Senior or Lead Software Engineer role.
Your skills and qualifications
- Relevant IT education and a few years of professional experience in software development
- A strong team player with a high sense of quality and excellent analytical skills
- Very good knowledge of Java and databases (SQL)
- Experience with Quarkus and React is an advantage
- Knowledge in build tools, CI/CD pipelines, and container technologies is a plus
- Openness to using AI‑supported tools to enhance daily work
- Very good English skills

Compensation
We are legally obliged to mention the compensation for this position. We offer a minimum salary of € 45.800,- gross/ year (fulltime employment). We offer a higher salary in line with your qualifications and experience.
