Software Engineer - Python (m/f/x)

Your mission
As a Software Engineer, you deliver scalable, high-quality solutions and automated web scraping tools that transform data into insights—driving innovation and keeping MIC competitive.

• Parse and transform data from various sources (websites, files, APIs) into JSON format and deliver it to cross-functional teams for downstream applications
• Develop and maintain data parsing pipelines using Python
• Scrape data from structured and unstructured web sources
• Store, transform, and manage data mainly in SQL
• Ensure data accuracy, reliability, and timeliness in delivery
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders
• Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code

Your skills and qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in Python development
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• Experience with web scraping frameworks (e.g., Scrapy, BeautifulSoup, Selenium, requests)
• Strong SQL knowledge and experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL)
• Familiarity with JSON, REST APIs, data serialization, Git/GitHub version control workflows
• Experience with AI tools (GitHub Copilot)
• Proficient in Linux/Unix environments or Windows Subsystem for Linux (WSL)
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication, team player
• Ability to work independently and in international teams
• Proficient in English (spoken & written)
