Your mission

As a Software Engineer you develop high quality, performing and scaling software solutions and constantly bring value to our customers in close team collaboration with other engineering roles.

  • You plan new and valuable features within the team and implement them in bi-weekly sprints with a big emphasis on stability and long-term quality of our software

  • Improving and developing MIC´s products from idea to production and over their whole lifecycle (implementing, testing, reviewing and documenting)

  • You work mainly with our core technologies, JavaEE and Oracle Databases (PL/SQL)

  • Depending on the team and your personal preference, you will also get to work with technologies like React, Kubernetes, Quarkus, Python, etc.

 

Your skills and qualifications

  • Degree in computer science or IT and some years of relevant working experience

  • Cross-functional team player with high-quality awareness & strong analytical skills

  • Independent and structured way of working paired with the drive to continuously grow and learn

  • Good Java and Database skills

  • Knowledge in the area of CI/CD and Container-Technologies is a plus

  • Proficient in English (written & spoken), Spanish (native)
