MIC-CUST® is one of MIC’s core software modules, offering standardized customs management processes and country-specific filing/customs clearance components for multiple countries, all in one product.
Many core functionalities of MIC-CUST® are standardized to a high degree across all countries. It allows our customers to implement standardized import and export management processes in their global customs organization and reuse ERP integrations and automation capabilities.
In countries with a small import or export volume, companies typically decide to use customs brokers instead of a software solution. These customs brokers perform the actual filing of customs declarations based on paper or electronic data. However, to continue utilizing many important compliance, automation and management features, our customers can use the MIC Broker Management module in these situations, which operates like an additional controlling layer for incoming and outgoing customs messages (MIC <> Broker), approvals and process relevant reports.
