You are responsible for promoting and supporting Scrum in the Scrum team and within the organization. The Scrum Master is a servant leader of one or more agile teams. The Scrum Master helps everyone to understand Scrum theory, practices, rules, and values.


Your Job

  • Coaches product owner and development team in agile principles
  • Facilitates Scrum meetings (Daily Stand-Up, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives)
  • Helps to remove impediments and helps to establish an environment in which the team continuously improves
  • Fosters the team’s self-organisation and cross-functionality
  • Coaches the product owner to effectively manage the product backlog
  • Helps employees and stakeholders to understand Scrum
  • Leads and coaches the organization in its Scrum adoption
  • Plans Scrum implementations within the organization
  • Constantly exchange with other Scrum Masters and Process Managers to improve the application of Scrum within the organization

Your skills

  • Bachelor or Master´s Degree (preferred in Computer Science or Economic and Computer Science) or Vocational High School for IT
  • Relevant work experience
  • Good understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and frameworks like Scrum, Kanban, XP, etc.
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent or experience working as Scrum Master
  • English - very good skills in written and spoken
  • Excellent communication and mentoring/coaching skills
  • Willingness to take responsibility
  • Ability to focus on a bigger picture

  • Compensation: We offer a salary according to your qualifications and experience ranging from € 3,400 to € 4,300 gross/month (basis: 38,5 hours per week; no all-in contracts) plus a general employee bonus and numerous benefits.
