MIC Customs Solutions and FedEx Trade Networks
A subsidiary of FedEx Corp. (NYSE: FDX) have come to an agreement will enable MIC’s customers to integrate multi-country, detailed tariff, duty and tax information from the FedEx Trade Networks /WorldTariff product into their MIC customs management applications, enhancing the ability of MIC customers to streamline and automate customs classification, clearance and preferential trade program processes in accordance with each country’s unique customs laws and regulations. MIC has entered into a partnership with the Sapper Institut (www.sapper.de) to provide seamless denied party screening in its export filing modules, integrating the cutting edge technology in Sapper’s Denied Parties Firewall™ and domino™ products into the MIC-CUST® application.
