Import Control System - ICS

EC regulation 648/2005 determines 1st January 2011 as go-live-date for the EU Import Control System (ICS) and obliges all carriers bringing goods into the EU, Norway and Switzerland from 3rd countries to send an entry summary declaration prior to its arrival to national customs administrations.
